About Good Move

- Tom T

“I’ve worked with a few personal trainers before I found Tom, but I always felt like they had a set regime we would work to - it didn’t feel personal enough.

With Tom, I feel like we’re really working through something specific to my needs - in this instance he is helping me gain strength and mobility but also doing so while caring for a shoulder injury. It feels really catered to my specific needs rather than cut and paste.

I would recommend Tom to anyone looking for help with their sports injuries as well as their personal training needs.”

- Jonathan M

“When I started training with Tom, I had injuries to a shoulder and knee. Tom was meticulous in preparing a program for me that addressed both injuries, alongside my desire to get fitter and stronger.

His attention to detail is second to none and I very quickly made progress with all my goals. I am now injury free, which I attribute to Tom’s care, attention and knowledge.

Tom is ever watchful in his support and guidance and makes a huge effort to create variety and interest in his programs.

I look forward to his gym sessions and can’t recommend him highly enough.

Meet Tom.

Hi, I’m Tom. I’ve worked in fitness and rehabilitation for over a decade, combining a background in Sports Science with a Master’s in Sports Therapy and years of hands-on experience.

Since starting my career as a Personal Trainer in 2013, I’ve helped people move easier, recover from injury, and build confidence in their bodies - whether they’re returning to sport, getting back into exercise, or simply wanting to feel stronger day to day.

I’m an accredited member of The Society of Sports Therapists and hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Sports Nutrition. Over the years, I’ve coached a variety of teams and sports, but I started Good Move after seeing too many people living with pain or discomfort that stopped them from doing the things they love -running, training, or simply moving comfortably day to day.

Too often, they hadn’t been given the right guidance or proper follow-up care - but it doesn’t need to be that way!

My approach is practical, evidence-based, and personal. I want every client to understand what we’re doing and why, feel supported at every stage, and leave each session stronger, more confident, and more capable in everyday life.
